Shri Apparaju Janardhana Rao Sharma Ji, Andhra Pradesh State President of the Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha, held a cordial meeting with Uttarakhand State President Shri Ramesh Chandra Punetha Ji, during which they discussed a range of organisational, religious and social-service matters.

The interaction focused on the protection of Sanatana Dharma, Hindu social unity, Gow Seva, preservation of temples and monasteries, greater religious and cultural awareness among youth, and the expansion of community-service initiatives.

Recent religious discussions in Uttarakhand have also brought attention to the importance of safeguarding the sanctity and traditions associated with major pilgrimage centres such as Haridwar, Rishikesh, Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri. Against this wider background, the two state leaders discussed the need for stronger coordination on issues concerning pilgrimage centres, Sanatana traditions and service-oriented activities.

Plans for Wider Religious and Social Programmes

During the meeting, Shri Ramesh Chandra Punetha Ji and Shri Apparaju Janardhana Rao Sharma Ji discussed strengthening coordination between the Uttarakhand and Andhra Pradesh units of the Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha.

They also discussed taking the matter forward in consultation with the national leadership of the Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha, with the aim of developing plans for larger religious, social and public-service programmes in the coming period.

A future course of action is expected to be considered after consultations with senior national leaders, with emphasis on organising programmes on a broader scale and improving coordination among different state units.

Focus on Sanatana Dharma and Public Service

The discussions also covered possible initiatives related to Sanatana Dharma awareness, preservation of temples and pilgrimage traditions, Gow Seva, participation of youth in religious and service activities, and support for economically weaker and needy families.

Both leaders emphasised the value of maintaining regular communication among state-level functionaries so that religious and social-service activities can be carried forward in a more coordinated and organised manner.

The meeting reflected an effort to connect state-level organisational work with a wider national framework, while giving greater attention to Dharma, service, cultural awareness and Hindu social unity.
